Caller: Will Mentor

Will Mentor

Will Mentor is a well-known, high-energy caller who is always in demand! He enjoys calling both contra and square dances. Will has written dances of his own, and also calls popular numbers - both old and new - by other artists. Will is from Northern Vermont, and gets booked to call in halls and churches from Québec to California, and everywhere in between. His teaching style is clear; he has fun behind the microphone; and he always keeps the focus on the dancers.

Band: Crowfoot

Crowfoot

The members of Crowfoot come from all over - England, Canada, and the USA - and include Adam Broome on guitar and cittern, Nicholas Williams singing, and playing flutes, accordion and piano, and Jaige Trudel bowing on the fiddle and the cello. Since 2003, Crowfoot has encouraged contra dancers to take to the floor with a musical offering that draws on traditional tunes, overlaid with new grooves. They'll bring their well-loved sound to Toronto for the first time in many years - so don't miss this chance to hear them!
