IEEE Student Branch Executives

Following are the executive positions available withing the UW IEEE Student Branches:

Chair - Executive Officer of the Branch

The Chair is responsible for the overall management of all Branch affairs. The Chair should take every opportunity to promote the benefits of IEEE membership to fellow students. Also responsible for preparing necessary reports for IEEE Student Services, electing new officers, working with and coordinating some activities with Section and Region Officers.

Vice Chair - Junior Executive Officer of the Branch

Helps the Branch Chair with the workload, oversee some of the management of the branch affairs, and manage the annual program of activities. Also responsible for arranging refreshments at Branch meetings, assist the Chair in following up on assigned responsibilities, perform all functions of Chair in the latter's absence or upon request.

Treasurer

This person is responsible for maintaining the financial accounts of the Branch, all records must be kept current and as accurate as possible. Prepare annual budget and/or financial statements, overseeing all fundraising efforts.

Secretary

This executive performs accurate and informative records keeping, including keep ing detailed records of each Branch meeting, be responsible for all Branch correspondence, assist the Chair to ensure that Branch activities are conducted under the provisions of the current Branch Constitution and Bylaws.
