The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) is a worldwide professional association. This non-profit organization is the world's largest professional society. Established in 1884, IEEE currently has more than 377,000 members in 150 countries. IEEE's general goal is the advancement of technology related to electricity.
